The word Solidarity is certainly relevant in current times as various groups are subjected to different kinds of injustice, and are too weak to defend themselves. Solidarity is depicted here in modern Arabic calligraphy. The Arabic letters that make up the word are stylized and arranged to form an iconic image that projects support and strength.

The order of the Arabic letters Meem and Noon is compromised to finish the design. The Noon is used to form half a circle at the bottom. There is an interplay between the eyes of the Arabic letters Dhadh and Meem. The circular solid dots, which are part of the Dhadh, Noon and Taa, are used to give focal points. Nonetheless, the word is remains legible.

كلمة تضامن ذات أهمّة كبيرة في هذه الآيّام ، فكثير من النّاس – شعوباً وجماعات – يتعرّضون لشتّى أنواع الظّلم، ولايستطيعون الدّفاع عن أنفسهم أو إنتزاع حقوقهم المشروعة.

هذا تصميم لكلمة تضامن منفّذ بأسلوب الخطّ الحديث الذي طوّره أ.د. نهاد دخان منذ سنين.

حروف الكلمة محوّرة ومرتّبة في شكل يعطي إنطباع آيقوني ينمّ عن القّوة و الثّبات .

ربما يكون التّصرّف في الميم و النون و الوصلة الغائبة بينهما في أسفل الكلمة غريباً، ولكنّه يساعد على إكمال التّصميم. كما وأنّ النقاط أستخدمت لنفس الغرض.

لقد لاقى هذا التصميم إعجاباً لدى كثيراً من النّاشطين المؤيّدين لحقوق المظلومين في العالم.
