The word Freedom— this ideal that we cannot live without, is depicted here in modern Arabic calligraphy. The Arabic letters that make up the word are stylized and arranged in an organic abstract shape. The curves and the outer bounds of each letter suggest a sense of sculpting (in two dimensions). One major stylization is that of the letter taa marbouta at the end of the word. This letter in its stylized form provides a horizontal element that helps in balancing the whole design. The location of the two dots above and below in vertical manner also finishes the design nicely. The dots give a sense of movement and vibration.

هذا تصميم لكلمة حريّة— هذا المعنى الجميل، هذه الفكرة الذي لا يستطيع الإنسان العيش بدونها، بل ويمكن أن يضحّي بحياته من أجلها. التصميم منفّذ بأسلوب الخطّ الحديث الذي طوّرته منذ سنين.

حروف الكلمة محوّرة و مرتّبة في شكل عضوي بلا تكلّف قد يوحي بعملية النّحت.

ربما يكون التّصرّف في التّاء المربوطة في نهاية الكلمة هو الأكثر إبداعاً. كما وأنّ النقطتان العموديتان فوق التّاء المربوطة وتحت الياء يعطيان إيحاءً بالحركة والإهتزاز.
