This is a wedding invitation in which the names of the bride and groom are intertwined in an organic modern Arabic calligraphy design. The three W’s (the letters wawo’s in Arabic) along with the bending vertical alif (or long A) are integrated to elicit the look of a musical instrument and the musical staff with notes. The three tails of the W’s hint to strings. The three heads of the W’s resemble faces of people looking far in the same direction (into the future).

هذا تصميم لبطاقة دعوة لحفل عقد قران أو خطوبة أو زفاف بالخطّ العربي الحديث الّذي أبدعه أ.د. نهاد دخان. هنا تمّ إستخدام حرف الواو المتكرّر ثلاث مرّات و حرف الألف بنوع من التّكامل للإيحاء بعدّة أشياء منها الموسيقى المدوّنة و الآلات الموسيقيّة. هناك أيضاً إيحاء لثلاثة وجوه ناظرة إلى المستقبل.
